The MIMICUP microfluidic cell culture plate is a multi-cell three-dimensional co-culture support with a pluggable cell culture chamber, capable of constructing a physical force microenvironment, supporting the stratified three-dimensional co-culture of two or more types of cells in the vertical direction, with an upward opening design to support air-liquid interface (ALI) culture conditions, facilitating the combination with 3D bioprinting technology. The bottom of the culture chamber is equipped with a flow channel groove that supports continuous perfusion culture of culture medium and drugs, forming a sealed flow channel after the chamber is installed, providing shear force microenvironment culture conditions for specific cells such as endothelial cells, constructing tissue models and barrier models of organ/organ chips in vitro that are more in line with in vivo model characteristics. This product can be used for drug sensitivity/efficacy testing of chemotherapeutic drugs, pre-screening of new drug research and development, and scientific research applications.
Structure
Mimicup microfluidics plate is comprised of four independentchannels, each of which connects six pluggable culture cups insequence.it can help to achieve multiplex microphysiologicalsystems co-culture under the same perfusion system, which issuitable for a variety of applications, for example repeatability drugtests for intra-. and inter-group, or study of different organoidinteractions. The schematic plot on the right illustrates Mimicupbeing used as a device to set up the liver hepatic sinusoid modelsof hepatocyte and endothelial cells co-culture in vitro. Thehepatocyte cells were cultured on the surface of matrigel/hydrogelin the pluggable cups to form 3D cell spheroids. while theendothelial cells were cultured in the channels with exposure toshear stress by the perfusion, forming the vascular endothelialbarrier.
